STORE LEADER position:

as a store leader, your responsibilities fall into 4 broad categories:

- Supporting, training & supervising team members.

- Opening & closing according to restaurant procedures.

- Living out the Cedars “WHY” by captaining the delivery of a memorable customer and staff experience.

- Assisting in upholding restaurant policies and procedures.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Models a customer comes first attitude, delivers memorable customer service, and supervises the team to ensure they are delivering high quality customer service.

  • Intake and execution of catering orders

  • Assisting in bi-weekly schedule creation 

  • Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.

  • Being the hawk of the store: “Vibe checker” - music, cleanliness, tidiness - embracing the guest experience. 

  • Addressing customer issues, complaints, getting answers to team member questions

  • Accounting for the intake of cash deposits/cash handling

  • Leading & Delegating sidework projects

  • Coaching existing + Training new team members

  • Performing thorough walk throughs to confirm lists are complete & cleanliness standards are being met

  • Inventory reporting and intake

  • Being an accountability partner to all team members

  • Filling in for unexpected employee absences

  • Supporting staff at various positions as needed

  • Being the liaison between staff members and owners.

  • Problem solving issues as they arise and being a thought partner to shift leads on duty.

Front of house

TEAM MEMBER

Front of house team members have two roles. These roles are Cashier/Host and Food Expeditor/Runner.

Our Cashiers welcome guests, talk colorfully and confidently about the menu, and take orders in a fast paced environment.

Expeditors are expected to be the conductors of the kitchen. Their role involves managing the accuracy and timing of each order. The expo will also package and announce orders to the guests.

People that work at cedars: Highly caring, accountable people with a strong work ethic & strong interest in building relationships with guests.

Pay is broken down by tips + tipped wage and averages to $16/hr. If tips ever dip, there is minimum pay of $15.40/hr paid biweekly for all tipped staff. Team members are eligible for performance based raises & bonuses.


Back of house team member

Cedars is looking for enthusiastic Line Cooks.

People who are happy at cedars are committed and hard-working, they like being part of a close-knit team and also enjoy the excitement that comes from working under pressure. We hope to find team-oriented people who want to be with us long-term and who may be interested in growing their skills and responsibilities in a fast-paced company.

Line cooks are expected to operate the fryers and plate menu items to order in a fast paced environment.

Prep cooks will be responsible for preparing several food items and ensuring line cooks remain stocked as necessary.

  • Will need a valid Food Handler Certification for this role.

  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to stack, walk and move during entire shift including frequent bending and stooping.

BOH team members are paid based on experience, from $15.40/hr to $18.50/hr.
